The observtion is at variance with the existing knowledge of experts which comes closest to the teachig according to the invention .DE-A 40 30 688 cited at the beginnging refers in column2, lines 28 to 30 the literature reference IQ of A.Mtromelen et al.entitled "EVaporation and Drying of drops in superheated steam",AICHE journal 18(1970),857 to 887 .ors of this article investigated the behavior of isolated individual drops on the one hand in hot air and on theother hand in superheated steam .Wet materials of diverse origin were used. In addition to pure water, various water-containing preparation from the food industry ,solutions and suspensions of purely inorganic materials and, finally frops of an aqueous solution of a commercial laundry detergent were used. More particularly, the quthors of the Article in question investigate and describe the structural change which the material undergoes in the course of drying and compare the product quality of the droplets of the aqueous detergent preparation ,a considerably higher density of the dry product is observed at the gas phase temperature of 250℃。

Theauthors come to the following overall conclusion :"Noradically different properties of thedried particles result from drying in steam as compared with air .However drops dried in steam sometimes yield denser particles .Dehydration and thermal degradation occur just as readily in both drying media.
